"FELIX" - The baby emergency ambulance with a holistic concept

Children are our future

The "Björn Steiger Foundation" was established in 1969 by Ute and Siegfried Steiger following the road accident involving their 8-year-old son. Since its establishment, the foundation has been committed to the continuous improvement of emergency aid. One of its long-standing projects promotes the transport of premature babies. As early as 1974, the foundation initiated the first baby emergency ambulance, which was equipped to meet the special requirements of premature babies. The project is still being driven forward today and has evolved into the technically optimised and holistic "Felix" concept since 2012. Premature babies can be transported from birth centres to specialist clinics at 19 locations throughout Germany thanks to the specially equipped vehicle, regularly trained hospital and driving staff and a safe working environment.

We are proud to be a sponsor of this important project for the third year in a row and to be able to guarantee safe care for the smallest patients right from the start.
